The resort has been designed around a simple philosophy. A casual, comfortable atmosphere built around nature - not on top of it. This sensitivity to the natural landscape of South Stradbroke Island has been recognised with environmental and architectural awards. 

But as soon as you see your room, you know it has been designed specifically for relaxation. Namely yours. 

The accommodation is divided into a ‘Marine Resort’ and the ‘Nature Resort’. So we can accommodate all tastes and budgets. From private waterview suites for a couple, to open-plan nature cabins for a few families. 

Marine Deluxe Rooms and Suites 
These deluxe rooms feel a bit like a cruise ship with their balconies suspended over the water. Furnished with a chic, simple flair, the rooms are air-conditioned, have a galley kitchen, separate baths and showers. 

2 Bedroom Lodges 
Private and luxurious, they are right on the waterfront and are fully self-contained, with huge outside decks. These lodges have families and their boats coming back for weekends throughout the year. 

4 Bedroom Villas 
Spacious villas with elegant furnishings and luxury fittings make your stay a holiday from the everyday. These four-bedroom, two-bathroom villas are right out of a lifestyle magazine. Deck chairs on elevated balconies have you mesmerised by the view and relaxing by the moment. 

How did they build these Nature Cabins? They certainly didn’t knock down any trees. The outside timber walls are barely noticeable. But inside? It’s the luxury you’re used to. Spacious, open plan interiors, high windows, and light, modern furniture. In all Nature Cabins, the kitchen is set up to cook up a storm. Complete with stove, microwave and fridge. Gourmet groceries are available at the general store, or just order them over the in-room interactive TV screen.

On a hot day these cabins are a sanctuary, catching ocean breezes and shaded by the forest that hides them.

Studio Cabin 
For a couple (or a small family) there’s the studio cabin with a spacious interior and a broad screened, wrap-around verandah. 

2 Bedroom Cabins 
The two-bedroom cabins have a huge open plan living area. They're great for families with older kids or for two couples. 

2½ Bedroom Cabins 
Sleeps five comfortably with two folding sofas in the living room. Two or more families can holiday in harmony together.

Extra adults $29 per day above standard capacity, 0-12 years stay free.
